Musto VM Workshop
-
Client: Musto
-
Location: Guildford, Surrey
To help Musto achieve visual consistency across its stores, we worked with Musto head office staff and store managers from around the country to develop and implement a range of practical VM activities. We focused on the Guildford store; these VM principles and techniques were to be replicated by managers in their own stores.
We first reviewed the existing VM standards in Guildford from the customer’s perspective. We then created a remerchandising plan of the store and split into teams to practically remerchandise the store. Each area was then assessed and refined if necessary before agreeing on the VM principles and techniques to be implemented across all stores. Key performance indicators (KPIs) were identified to monitor and measure the remerchandising activity; the store managers then created their own VM plan of action. As a follow up to this activity we provided before and after photographs of the Guildford store as a reference. After one week, sales in Guildford had significantly increased.
