Radley Retailer Specific Visual Merchandising Guidelines

  • Client: Radley

  • Location: UK

To improve Radley’s visual brand image with key retail partners John Lewis, House of Fraser, and Debenhams, we were tasked with creating specific VM guidelines for each retailer. We first assessed current Visual Merchandising standards at each retailer and collated information about the fixture package for each brand.

Using Photoshop, we prepared scaled fixture templates ready for the Radley product to be positioned on them. Retailer-specific Visual Merchandising guides were then created to show each retailer the ideal way to display Radley product on their own fixtures. Each guide had to take into account the retailers’ own Visual Merchandising principles and product density on the sales floor. We then designed, developed and ran a practical workshop for the Radley Visual Merchandising field team to ensure that they were fully equipped to implement these Visual Merchandising principles that will in turn improve the visual brand image at retail and ultimately result in higher sales.
