We are proud to be a member of the UK Green Building Council (UK-GBC), a not-for-profit organisation campaigning for a sustainable built environment. We designed, developed and implemented a sustainable exhibition stand at Ecobuild 2008, of which the UK-GBC is a major supporter. The stand had to bring to life in a 3D experiential way what the UK-GBC stands for, and showcase ways to access the brand and its services through its new website and corporate identity. The UK-GBC exhibition stand was central to the whole event, and provided hospitality to existing and prospective new members.
In addition to the design and installation, we also managed the handover and de-installation co-ordination, and provided post-event storage assistance. We carefully sourced vendors and sustainable materials in accordance with UK-GBC requirements. The stand was designed so that it can be configured in many ways to suit different sizes and shapes of space. It was reused at the Think Exhibition held this year alongside Grand Designs at Excel, and will have a long and happy life until we recycle it. We are currently working on redesigning the layout of the stand to reuse it at Ecobuild 2009.
